Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am 41 & have been with partner for 3 months, we would like to not use condoms from now on, but at present do not want a baby, although I am fully aware time isn't on my side to conceive, therefore which would be the best contraceptive pill for me to take?
hello i hav read ur query. you can go for Ortho Tri Cyclen or Yasmin.for first 2-3 months u may hv slight side effects like breast tenderness, fatigue, and headache/nausea, but it goes away after a while. Yasmin is somewhat expensive.but i wud still suggest using a condom is the best method. you can also go for an intra uterine decice like copper T. hope this ans helps.take care
