Suggest Birth Control Pill With Levonorgestrel In It
age - 18yrs
diagnosed with bilateral PCOD
BLOOD REPORT
S. prolactin 28..59 (4.8- 23.3)
serum TSH 2.79 (0.27- 4.20)
S. DHEA-S 305.5 (65.1- 368)
S. Testosterone- 0.45 (0.06 - 0.82)
S. / Plasma insulin a) fasting 11.70 (2.60 - 24.90)
b) PP 56.79 (22- 79)
MEDICATION
aldactone 50 ( 2 tablet
diane 35 ( 1 tablet - 21 days starting from the end of a cycle)
calcium (CCM tablets)
iron (ferronine)
had intercourse during the 'downfall period' ie. yesterday. condom rupture.
plan to take emergency contraceptive pill to avoid pregnancy. please tell me your views and that the pill available in india, which has mainly the drug called Levonorgestrel in it...will it effect me since i am a bilateral PCOD patient and am taking the above mentioned medicines.
plz help!!!!!!
ps: also, what are the chances of getting pregnant if you have sex during your downfall period?

Hello,
PCOD have less chance of getting pregnant is less. You can take emergency pill. Do UPT after 1 month.
