I stopped drug for 6 months again problem reoccurred ...now my medicine increased ...Meascol 800 MG + Azoran 30 MG tablets. Now, I am scare to use these drugs because it has huge side effects as per info got in net. Please advice us how to lead effective life with these drugs as I am still 28 years...don t have any bad habits...what is my life expectancy ??
There is no ssignificant reduction in the life span in patients suffering from crohn's disease. You need stric adhreance to your drud therapy and not discontinue medications unless advised by your gastroenterologist. Your dose of azathioprine is very low at present. You should expect intermittent flareup of Crohns disease whic can be managed by steroids \and adjusting the dose of medications. Hope this solves your query and feel free to contact me if you have further issues.
