I am a 17 year old girl with a conjunctival nevus on the caruncle of my left eye. It started at thanksgiving last year and has grown to be a little over one mm. It is dark but doesn t hurt. The opthamologist said I could get it biopsied but I am wondering about biopsy complications and scars.
Hello It seems from the history that you are diagnosed with conjunctival nevus. You can undergo excision biopsy. It is a simple procedure and can be done under local anesthesia without any problems. Any ophthalmologist will be able to do this.
Thank you
