Suggest Cost Effective Treatment Of ADHD

Hello - I have been recently diagnosed with ADHD by a psychiatrist (more hyperactivity than attention deficit). I ve struggled with it my whole life and have been diagnosed with it twice before, but my parents did not believe in drugs to help. My psyciatrist has asked me to get an EKG before he can prescribe me anything. I tried to get one done today, but my insurance is so terrible that it would all go towards my deductible and cost me a lot to get the test done. Is there any way to get a consultation and prescription online without having to do these expensive tests? Everything costs so much money and I m trying to just get the help I need without spending my life savings to get it done. Thanks.

Hello thanks for asking from HCM

I can understand your concern. ADHD or attention deficit hyperactivity disorder is a childhood psychiatric disorder. Commonly stimulants are used in treatment. Amphetamines like Methylphenidate, Dexamphetamine etc are used. These drugs are controlled drugs and can be prescribed only after proper evaluation. For the prescription you have to get ECG, blood workup done. The drug can't be prescribed online because of legal hassles. So I'd advise you to find a good and economical place to get ECG done.
