General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

He would need constant cardiologist follow up and treatment with diuretic medicines and salt restriction and water intake according to output as well as, diet plan to meet caloric requirements with least sugars and fats and more vegetables and proteins according to his requirements. It's better to involve dietitian for the said diet plan.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
