Suggest Diet Foods For Gestational Diabetes With Low Bp
I m 34 weeks pregnant and have gestational diabetes. I have flu like symptoms with upset stomach and a 100 degree fever. I m having a hard time eating anything and I m worried about my blood sugars dropping too low. Anything I should do or eat? Do I need to go to ER or can I wait to see my Dr. tomorrow?
Generally in Gestational diabetes chances of hypoglycemia are very minimal due to hormonal changes of pregnancy. For your fever you can take paracetamol which is very safe during pregnancy. Once your fever comes down you may eat something. Generally with infections sugars go up so be careful and check your blood sugars using glucometer. If there are no other symptoms except fever, you can meet your doctor tomorrow. Hope i have cleared your doubts... Dr.Riyaz Sheriff
