Hello. Good day. Thanks for writing to HCM. I am Dr Praveen and I will be answering your query today.
Avoid refined sugar in all forms. Avoid all purpose flour and its related products. Have plenty of green veggies. Take starchy veggies sparingly. Take 2-3 servings of fruits (apples, oranges, grapefruit, musk melon, guava). Use grapes, mangoes and water melon sparingly. Avoid red meat. Take fish, chicken and eggs. Don't fry foods. Salt as usual. No added salt diets. No fruit juices. Small frequent meals. These are the basics. A customized plan can be done based on your eating pattern, work profile and sugar/cholesterol levels.
Wishing you good health.
Warm regards.
