Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi, I m taking lactare tablets to increase milk supply? Can i take it continously until i feed her to maintain the milk supply? Also i m using a nipple shield to feed her.. Is it okay!? Wanted to know if sucking a nipple shield wil make her lips big?
Lactare is a herbal medicine and is not studied in any trial and no official opinion can be given. My personal opinion on it is that if you have found it useful, you can use it as no significant adverse reaction has been reported. You are using a nipple guard because it makes it easier for your baby to drink your milk. It is more important that your baby gets enough milk. Have no worries , your baby will not lose any of her charming features.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
