Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My question is to a pediatrician My baby is 2.5 months old and he was given his 10 weeks vaccination that is injection And since he was having fever I gave him medomol oral suspension Now the doctor had ordered 9 drops and since the suspension is so thick I administered almost 1.5ml (saw the marking on the dropper later) Is it a overdose Pls help
Thanks for query. No need to panic kindly relax. Yes you have given the baby a little higher dose still nothing to worry. As dr suggested 9 drops in a gap of 4-6 hrs for next dosage is correct which is 0.5 ml 3 or 4 times daily. If fever is not there kindly dont repeat dose again. Once fever develops again give 9 drops of medomol drops. Hope this will be useful information to you.
