Suggest Effective Alternative To Xarelto
is there a safer blood thinner than xaralto? my husband is on xaralto and Multaq. His heartbeat is 57 per minute with a normal rythym and all scans show normal healthy heart and lungs. He will have bloodwork and a stress test this week and I can t wait for him to stop taking meds!!!

Warfarin is the standard blood thinner for may conditions. Xarelto is a newer drug that does not have the need for frequent blood testing and dietary restrictions that are required with warfarin. They are both equally safe but if he is having side effects from the xarelto then his doctor could change him to warfarin.
