Hi welcome to HCm
Dear , your pain in fractured ankle , after removing your cast is very natural .
It takes time to recover fully once a part of body is damaged . It can gradually recover to full capacity by taking good care .
You should use your ankle as pain allows .
It is important that swelling, pain, strength and
stiffness are addressed following the removal of the cast.
Your skin may be dry and flaky. You will find that soaking your foot and ankle in warm water helps to reduce the pain and makes moving your ankle easier. Exercising in water is therefore is a comfortable way of doing your exercises.
When you are resting, sit with your leg up to elevate your foot.
At night rest your foot on some pillows so that it is above the level of your heart.
Pain in your ankles when you stretch them to far forward/back is natural .
Rotate gently but frequently to begin with .
Massaging your foot and ankle with plain , unperfumed moisturiser or Til oil also helps with the flaky skin and make your foot more comfortable to complete your exercises.
Proper regular physical activity -
Yoga , panayam - deep breathing and
meditation is required to increase blood circulation . Stay hyderated . A balanced diet including fiber ,
vitamins , minerals , protien ,
antioxidants , lemon juice in a glass of warm water and a pich of salt and black pepper , ginger , garlic , Turmeric powder- a natural antibiotic , in a cup of hot milk in breakfast and at bed time
all help boost your immunity , alley inflammation & pain and pave way for early recovery .
Idon't think 3 weeks are enough for full recovery to join a contest of skateboard
Regular check up by your physio is preferable before you take any assigno
ment you tend to do .
Hope this helps solves your query .Take care , All the best .
Don't hesitate to get back if have any further query
