hi i am 23 years old girl, i had 'laparoscopy appendectomy four month ago, my appendex was in the back and inflamed, after a month i had back pain when i lay down on my back and my period get more heavy this period was after 37 days and very painful also there was a fluidaround the uterus now beside all my symptom there is bloating, nausea
Hi. Thanks for your query. Noted the history and understood your concerns. Laparoscopic appendectomy can have sequel and complications which usually are seen immediately if there is any complication like abscess formation and the sequel takes weeks together. Since you have delayed periods that are heavy along with fluid around Uterus and backache on lying down, this looks to be due to PID means pelvic inflammatory disease. I would advise you the following: Examination by a Gynecologist and per-vaginal examination and ultrasonography. If required CT scan for the back to see for the cause of backache if this is not related to the Gynecological problems. Also get the blood, urine and stool tested as there can be a detection of some disease related or unrelated. Once diagnosed a proper treatment can be started to get a cure.
