Suggest Medication For Arthritis Pain While On Sulfasalazine

While i am waiting for the full effect of the sulfasalazine ER 500 to occur, what can i use for the pain for my arthritis? I have only been on this med for a couple of weeks and i have worked my way up to 3 tabs in the am and 3 tabs in the pm. I am still in a lot of pain while waiting for it to work and the throbbing wakes me through the night! I do have tramadol, is this ok to take with it? Or Tylenol? Or aspirin? Anything so i can get some sleep without pain! Thank you for listening! =)

Yes you can take tramadol with it.
NSAIDs, DMARDs (disease-modifying anti-rheumatic drugs) are prescribed in severe cases.

Newer biologics have role in Arthritis.

If your doctor has increased dosing systematically then nothing to fear,he may have advised for watching any unusual side effects and precautions.
Tamadol 100 is good for pain relief, but hot packs,physical therapy's, application of anti inflammatory gel to joints should lend additional help.Avoid sun exposure for long,report to your doctor if after 3 weeks pain n swelling continue.
