Suggest Medication For Bladder Infection Along With Lower Back And Abdominal Pain

I had lower back and lower abdominal pain one time blood in urine – saw my doctor who said I had a bladder infection and prescribed Septra. Four days into the antibiotics I began to burn and saw the dr. again who told me to stop the Septra and gave me an anti-fungal pill that lasts 3 days. The first day I took the pill the burring stopped completely but returned the second day. I’m having burning all the time. What could be the problem

Welcome to HCM
I have read and understood your query
Hope it may help
In my opinion you are having urinary tract infection. It may be bladder infection.
What you need to do is take a full course of antibiotic like ciprofloxacin 500mg twice daily for 5 days.Take plenty of fluids that help to flush the bacteria from the system.
If the burning continues get a urine examination done and get back to us with the report.
I will be happy to know if it was helpful. You can approach us anytime with another query
