Hello,
Welcome to Health Care Magic. I read carefully your query and I understand your concern.
From your description I can understand that you have metabolic problem with lipid blood profile and
glucose in blood.
High level of lipid blood profile is a risk factor for
heart attack, stroke etc, you take Lipitor for this problem; Lipitor (
atorvastatin) is a HMG CoA reductase inhibitor that decrease the level of LDL, triglycerides and increase HDL. Lipitor treat
high cholesterol level. During the intake of this medication you should monitor the liver enzyme test every 3 months and do the lipid blood profile to monitor the dosage of it.
For the
hypoglycemia I recommend you to do a fasting blood glucose test and after meal to determine if you have
diabetes or not.
To avoid metabolic disorder you should change your lifestyle, increasing the physical activity minimally doing 30 minutes of brisk walking every day and eat healthy.
The red wine have beneficial effect especially for women, and it is recommendable drink one glass of red wine, to avoid
dizziness you should drink it after the meal or change the mark of wine or avoid drinking it for a period of time.
Hope this answers your question. If you have additional questions or follow up questions then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your questions.
Kind regard,
Dr .Marsida Janko
