Suggest Medication For Cold, Itchy Throat And Dizziness
iv had a cold for about 3 days with a scratchy throat and a runny nose. today i feel dizzy like my head is spinning, and i feel a sort of high, except everything is speeded up instead of slowed down. iv taken mucinex cough syrup as well as the mucinex cough pills to treat my cough symptoms. what do i do next? different medicine? do i see a doctor? or just get some rest?
As per your complain it seems that you have an upper respiratory tract infection commonly known as Common cold and it is a viral infection.. There can be a secondary bacterial infection along with viral. Nothing to worry about it as it will be resolved soon as the viral infection runs its course and gets resolved in almost a week. You can take a short course of antibiotics like Levofloxacin or Cephelexin,take decongestants like Pseudoephadrine or Phenylephrine, mucolytics like Bromohexine, warm saline gargles and steam inhalations.. Take a soft diet, drink plenty of water and sufficient rest..
