I am currently going to a methadone clinic for pain control for my spinal stenosis, sheurmanns kyphosis and scoliosis with 4 corroded discs with pinched nerves. i go to the clinic because i am only 21 and doctors would not help me with pain control. i am going to an appointment with a surgeon who is going to replace the 4 discs in my back and he has a pain dr at his office. he said he will work with pain dr to get me off of methadone. what sort of pain drug would be good in my case considering the clinic gives the dr an indication that i have rx abuse issues, which i do not. i just have chronic pain.what can i do what should i say please help.
