Suggest Medication For Cough,congestion And Clogging Of Ears

For about a month now I have a cold. No fever. Started out with a soar throat, which is gone. Now I am congested and coughing. My ears are clogged and I can sometimes hear myself wheezing. When I cough only a little mucus comes out, not much. What could be wrong with me?

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain it seems that the symptoms of cough and congestion along with wheezing and clogged ears are due to spread of infection to lower respiratory tract that can be caused conditions like Bronchitis, COPD, lung infection etc..
Ear clogging is due to blockage of Eustachian tube with mucous..
You should get evaluated by a Pulmonologist and investigations like chest x ray, complete blood picture, throat swab culture can help in diagnosis..
You can be given a script of antibiotics along with anti allergics like levocetrizine, cough suppressant containing Dextromethorphan and cough expectorant containing Gueifenesin..
You can also be advised mucolytics like Ambroxol to clear the mucous and decongestants like Phenylephrine..
Decongestant nasal drops to clear the clogging of ears can also be advised along with steam inhalations..
