Suggest Medication For Defect In The Muscle Causing Immobility

Dear Doctor, â?¢     I am asking regarding my girl child having 27 months old. All of a sudden in the month of 17th july 2009 she is not able to stand and walk. â?¢     Her body was vibrating and when she stands she falls. Within 3to 4 days she is not even sit also. â?¢     I consult with doctors here in Kolkata they told that it may be a cases of Viral cerebeleities or cerebellar tumor. â?¢     Immediately after 2days I consult with HOD neurologist Cuttack, he also told the same thing, according we gone for MRI and it was found Brain is normal. Then he administered Deflazacot 6mg. A â?¢     The doses of the medicine was likely 1,5 tabs for 15 days, 1tab for next 7 days and 0,5 tabs for next 15 days. â?¢     After taking this she has started some improvement •     Here to note that in the month of April 2009 she has suffered from Chicken pox and at that time she has taken acyclovir. The doctors were saying here the viral cerebeleities ( acute cerebellar ataxia) was due to the post viral infection of checken pox which antigen of the virus affect the cerebellum. •     After 3 month she started sitting without help. •     In th mean time I again consult with doctors here in kolkata they could not identify any reason and told is the case of ataxia. Again they administered for MRI in 3 tesla and found normal. They told we can go for Igh test and other blood test for testing any symptoms of Telengaties. But my child do not have any symptoms of telengaties. She does not have any kind of infection since 7 months, nor she skin and eye shows any symptoms of red like mark. I and my wife has not married from any relatives. •     With the advice of doctors she is doing regularly physical therapy with regd doctors since last 3 months •     Now the status is that she is able to sit and able to kneel independently but when she stand she is unsteady •     She can able to run with little support with her finger •     With discussion with physiotherapist they are saying her muscles improving •     She is taking adequate protein rich diet now as advised •     Regarding CSF fluid doctors advised that it is not advisable. •     My request is that already 9 months passed since she is not able to walk and stand independently what can be the proper treatment for her •     As doctors say the Acute cerebellar ataxia will go away within the period of 2 to 30 weeks and already 30 weeks have passed •     How can I get better help from your side ? •     Is there any active medication or we trust with the physical therapy and time? •     Is she 100% be cured if so what can be the time period? •     Is she requiring any further test required? •     Is she require any test for muscle ? •     What is the cause for delay in recovery ? •     Or is the diagnosis is not proper? Requiring your help in this regards. With Regrads Satyajit Nayak f/o Sanjna Nayak
