Suggest Medication For Fever

I am asking in regards to a friend who has recently come down with flu like symptoms. fever from 99.1-101.2 with ibuprofen, body aches, respiratory (stuffy, runny, sneezing). Today, he took Dayquil and his temp has been 96.0-96.3 all day. This is very strange and I am concerned.

Hi, to answer your question about your friend, it is ok to take Dayquil for the cold & flu. His fever has also subsided and that is good, not strange. It is nothing to worry about, though I recommend that if the fever lasted more than 2 days, get a Physician to see you physically and evaluate if any blood tests need to be done.
