Suggest Medication For Irregular Menstrual Cycle And Cramps

I have been having my menstrual cycle every two weeks and also pain in my tailbone along with cramps for almost a year now and I don't know if it is related but both started bout same time.. I am going to see my Dr in a few weeks but its got me worried..

Hello and welcome to HCM,
Menstrual cycles occurring every two weeks suugests short cycles.
Are your cycles regular or irregular?
If the cycles are regular, there is nothing much to worry.
However, if cycles are irregular, you need to consult your gynecologist.
Irregular menstrual cycles can occur due to hormonal imbalances in body.
Thus, a clinical assessment, relevant investigations like pelvic ultrasound and endometrial biopsy. curreting is necessary to know the cause of irregular menstrual cycles.
Irregular cycles are commonly due to hormonal imbalances, thus hormonal therapy will be helpful to treat the problem but you need to consult a gynecologist for prescription of medication.
