Suggest Medication For Itching And An Infection On The Genitals
Hi Doctor,
I have noticed several red dots or bumps on my genitals (glans and the sensitive skin just below) since couple of weeks. They are very small in size - about 1 to 2 mm. I tried applying "Itch Guard". After using Itch Guard the red dots go away or reduce in size and number but reappear after a couple of days. This has happened 3-4 times in the past 3 weeks. Is this Genital Psoriasis? What is the medicine for this?
In addition to this, since 6-7 weeks I have been suffering from increased itching problem all over my body - especially arms, thighs, back, stomach and legs. I keep scratching by body several times a day. Is this also a sympton of Psoriasis?

Thanks for posting in HCM.
It appears that you are unnecessarily worrided about the lesions as genital psoriasis.
It appears to be a simple bacterial infection of the skin.
Kindly do the following to overcome them.
1. Clean the area everyday with warm water and mild antiseptic solution like Savlon twice daily.
2. Take tablet Levocetrizine once a day for itching.
3. Apply Neomycin cream twice daily after washing and drying twice daily.
Wear loose fitting cotton undergarments, especially at night time.
Abstain from sexual activities till the lesions heal completely.
