Doctor my baby is 2 years old and she is gettinv loose motion my doctor suggested me pre pro kids sachets and laxiwal but still she is getting loose motion . Tried both and he also gave tonic i am put all as he told but today is her 3rd dayi am treating her withthe medicine. Today atleast it should improve .and i am puting sinarest af for cold . Please sugesset me whether ihave tocontinue the same and itwill stop.
Your daughter is just 2 year old, advised Pre-pro kid sachets, laxiwal and a tonic but no relief from diarrhea for three days, also getting Sinarest for cold. I would advise you the following: Your Pediatrician seems this to be due to a viral infection or intolerance to something that is why the diarrhea is not getting controlled. Send the stool and blood sample for tests. If there is any evidence of an intestinal infection then she will need additional antibiotic coverage. Continue the management as already she is on. Proper hydration is very important and this is possible as there is no nausea or vomiting.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
