Hi,I am Dr. Subhankar Chakraborty (Gastroenterologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have been experiencing lower pelvic pain on both sides. It is similar to a cramping pain or dull ache. I have noticed that I feel a pelvic pressure in my vagina and feel a lump/ball at the opening. I felt as though the pelvic pain is associated with my urge to have a bowel movements; however I notice the pain well after I have had a BM. Any insight into the possibilities of what I am experiencing would be greatly appreciated. Thank you kindly.
Hi. Thanks for your query. Noted the history of pain in lower pelvis on both sides, similar to cramping pain, feeling of pelvic pressure, in vagina, lump/ball at the opening and feels to be associated with urge to pass bowel movements. This indicates the following: There may be a mass or so in the pelvic area. I would advise you the following: Get an appointment with your Gynecologist for clinical evaluation, examination, per-vaginal and per-rectal examination and MRI of the area to get a probable diagnosis., Once diagnosed, there will be the plan of treatment which you will have to follow.
