Suggest Medication For Pressure Ulcer
how to treat pressure ulcer for my grand ma aged around 95 years. she is bed ridden. not taking any food. has not passed urine for past two days. small worms seen in the pressure ulcer area (dont know how to specify those worms). any suggestions please. am from India. no doctor available to treat her at home. kindly guide us.

Hello
In India we treat this type of pressure ( bed sore ) with great care .
First of all take treatment for diabetes ( if any ) .
Now first of all take precaution in such a way that this wound don't come contact with bed or surface.
I advise my patient to lie down on a tyre ( of car i.e. old tyre ) , put some cotton entrapped in some clothes so that all other side around wound don't hurt . In this way ulcer will not come in contact with any thing and beside it will get air from below .
Wash wound with hydrogen peroxide three time in day . After this wash it with TERPENTINE OIL .
Now pick up worm which you can see with plucker.
After this again wash with terpentine oil . Now apply povidone ointment ( very thick layer of ointment ) .
This is local treatment for worms .
Take antibiotics and anti inflammatory drugs from your surgeon.
However , you may not understand few things as mentioned above but I will try to explain in next query.
For urine catheterization is important and plenty of intravenous infusion advised .Good luck.
