Suggest Medication For Red Itchy Rash On My Inner Thigh

I have a darkish/red rash on my inner thigh, in the crease where the leg meets the groin. There are a few faint raised bumps, it releases a discharge that leaves a white/yellow stain on the side of my underwear, and it s itchy and tingles. Should I put a cream on it?

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

It could be Bacterial intertrigo. I would suggest you to apply some antibacterial cream such as Mupirocin cream or Fusidic acid cream.
If you have fever or any toxic symptoms, do consult your family physician immediately.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
