Suggest Medication For Severe Headache And Light Sensitivity

Hi I had flu like symptoms for 24 hours on Tuesday 17th Dec. I had a fever and an aching body however, I never developed the blocked and runny nose etc. But since then I have had a headache which has been every day in the left hand side of my head which can at some points get quite bad and similar to a migrane with some sensitivity to light. Is there any connection and can I get any over the counter medicine to clear it up? Thanks Gill

Accroding to history provided by you it seems you are suffering from mingrain like headache.

Migrain usually presents with headache,photosensitivity,phonophobia and It sometime very severe to disrupt routine life.

In such cases i usually try some basic medications like pain killers for few weeks and if symptoms persist then I suggest some anti migrain medications to my patient.

Please take an appointment of nearby physician for proper work up and further management.
