Suggest Medication For Sore Throat And Painful Pus Filled Blisters On Uvula

I recently got a sore throat and there is strep like symptoms. I went to the doctors and they said it was allergies. They prescribed me omoxicillion to be safe. It has not really worked. I also have pus filled blisters on my uvula that are very painful. Is there anyway to get my throat back to normal?

Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
You can take Azithromycin one tab a day for 2 days. Use decongestant syrup to soothen your throat. Do salt water gargling thrice a day.
This should get you back to normal soon.
