Hello doctor My perods just ended last week as they continue for one week . My next period will be on 5-6th of oct . Can u please tell me which medicine should i take so i can get my periods next week so i should be fine by 3-4 of october . Please suggest
You should not try to change your period if it is not incredibly important, because this can affect the regularity of your period. And no medicine is completely free from side effects. So think before taking any medicine for this purpose. You can postpone your period by taking medroxyprogesterone 5 mg twice daily. You should start 5 days before your expected date of bleeding and continue it for 10 days or until desired. Bleeding will not occur until you stop medroxyprogesterone. When you will stop it, bleeding will start within one week of stoppage. I hope this information will help you. I will be happy if you ask another question Thanks
