Suggest Medication To Regulate Period Such That It Supports Pregnancy
Hi, I am worried that my first cycle of clomid messed up my regular cycle. My normal/regular cycle is usually anywhere from 45 to 52 days long. My doctor suggested to go on clomid to plan for a baby. My period started on Oct.16 and took clomid from Oct. 18 to Oct.22. I didn t get pregnant during that cycle and got a verly light period on Nov.18 x 4days. Then my doctor said to take prover x 7 days bc my endometrium was too thick to start another clomid cycle. But my body ovulated itself after provera! Then I got spotting (no period) two weeks after that. Then again spotting after another 2weeks (but on and off). I am really confused at this point. What should be the next step? Do I just wait for my body to go back to its regular long cycle?
No, do not let your body return to those long cycles. Wait for a while to see who the regulation changes, and once we reach a bleeding frequency of about once in 25-30 days, let your doctor check on your endometrial thickness and then initiate clomid. Hopefully the results are better this time around.
Best of luck.
