Suggest Medications And Diet Plan For Antral Erosion

Hi, I have pain around my stomach region since last 2 months. I went for an endoscopy 2 months ago and I was diagnosed with antral erosions. H.Pylori test came out to be negative. My doctor adviced me nexpro medicine twice daily for a month but the pain would come and go. I went to a different Dr. after a month and he advised me Pantocid DSR once before breakfast and Sucral syrup four times a day. However, I still get pain sometimes if I delay my meals or eat some spicy foods. Could you please advice what should be my next step? How much time does it usually take for the antral erosions to heal? What eating habits should should I follow? What are the recommended foods and foods to avoid for my condition? Regards,

Hello and welcome to HCM,
The medication - pantocid and sucral syrup are appropriate for healing of the ulcer in the stomach mucosa.
Pantocid decreases the secretion of acid in the stomach and sucral syrup forms a protective covering over the ulcer.
The layer formed by sucral prevents the contact of acid with the ulcer bed.
This treatment should be followed for few months.
Spicy foods should be avoided as spicy foods cause irritation, increases acid secretion and prevents healing of the ulcer.
The timing of the drugs should be strictly followed.
Nutrition and hydration should be well maintained.

Thanks and take care
