Hello and thank you for asking on HCM!
I read carefully your concerns.

If your thyroid hormonal level is within the normal ranges under armor treatment, than the thyroid can not be the cause of your symptoms.

You should take thyroid hormonal treatment longlife and it is doesn' t matter if the thyroid produces anymore hormone or not.

Important is to maintain a normal TSH, FT4 and FT3 level.
The symptoms of under active thyroid are discrete and when people notice hair fall, weight gain ect., there is a tendency to attribute them to the thyroid.
A normal result of the hormones exclude it.

Kind regards,
Dr.Mirjeta
