Suggest Medications For Pain In Pelvic Area With White Discharge In Menopausal Woman
I am a post menopausel woman almost 60 with discomfort in my pelvic area. It always feels as if I should start my period but there is no discharge. Sometimes I have sharp pains. I had my yearly pap in November 2013 and it was normal. Should I be concerned or go to my doctor?
Discomfort and pain in the pelvic area are caused due to dryness of vagina in postmenopausal women as your body stops producing certain hormones. A common treatment of vaginal dryness caused by low estrogen levels is topical estrogen therapy. This means medications that are applied directly to the vaginal area to relieve symptoms. Topical estrogen cream Vaginal ring (Estring). ... Vaginal cream (Estrace, Premarin). Vaginal tablet (Vagifem). You can use any among them.
