Suggest Medications For Sore Throat & Headache

43 yr old female 146 lbs.... is there anything I can take other than mucinex for a major stuffy head with my lisinopril/HCTZ!? Sore throat, low fever (99.5-100.3), headache (from congestion), etc.... Took ibuprofen, mucinex, and have benadryl for tonight. Also, used vapor rub.... old school remedy!! :)

Hello & welcome to HealthcareMagic forum.
As per your clinical history it appears that you are having upper respiratory tract infection.
If I were your treating doctor, I would advice you
Steam Inhalation twice daily,
Antiseptic chlorhexidine Mouth Wash twice daily ,
Plenty of fluids & Vitamin C.
Continue ibuprofen, mucinex, and have benadryl.
Hope this information helpful to you .If you have any further questions I will be happy to help.
