Suggest Medicine For Seizure

our son AAdi is 9 years , he's been diagnosed with temporal lobe epilepsy- partial complex. it's been appx 4 months, started June this year, we have no histrory of E in our families, his birth was fine- no struggle it was a c-sec, he cried immediately after birth. the delima right now is to choose between current medication and new ones since his seizures are coming every week, sometimes twice/day. Old medication is epilexchrono 500 mg- BD, Lavera 500 mg- BD, the new neuro suggests we move to- Lacosamide-50 x 2 times to begin with & triptal-300 x 2 times .....

If possible, please upload the MRI brain and EEG reports. The decision to choose specific drugs and the dose depends on the type of epilepsy (seizures) and body weight respectively. Many children require multiple drugs for good seizure control. About 30% patients do not get proper seizure control with medicines and need to be evaluated for a possible epilepsy surgery.
