Suggest Medicine To Postpone Menstrual Cycle

Hi Dr. I wanted to postpone my periods by 12 days as I am travelling. My expected date of menstrual cycle was 11march so I started taking deviry 10mg twice daily since 4th march but on 14th I got my periods. How is it possible? This is so irritating.

Hi, I think it was a breakthrough bleed. You can modify your periods by taking progesterone but you can't be sure that you will respond in the way you want. Next time you can try some other progesterone like primolut N. Consult your doctor.
