Sudden Deafness in the left ear on Sunday morning (24-04-2011) Symptoms: Dizziness, Vertigo Vomitting, Nausea (During attack) Left Ear totally Deaf Disturbance in left ear, a feeling of pressure building in ear 2. Dr. R.S. Gill on Wednesday evening (27-04-2011) Diagnosed: Labrynthitis Prescription for seven days: 1. Injection: Kimoneuron –M (Alternate day) 2. Capsules: cyclospasmol 200 mg (o o o) 3. Wysolone 20 mg (o o o) for three days Wysolone 10 mg (o o o) for two days Wysolone 05 mg (o o o) for two days 3. R. Dox (o o) 4. Vertin 16 mg (o o o) Please tell me the medicines am I taking right. It will be cured in how many days. I am 17 and a half years old.
Your using all medication for labyrinthitis. I may just add one more drug like diazepam (valieum) may useful to control giddiness and vertigo. Also, you may get it done MRI brain to rule out stroke or tumour or demylinating conditions that causing giddiness. Please consult with your ENT specialist he will examine and treat you accordingly.
