Hello,
Getting stomach cramps is often seen in early pregnancy as the uterus enlarges and the supporting ligaments stretch. Unfortunately, self-induced abortions are fraught with high failure rates and risk to health. Medical abortion is possible up to 9 weeks of pregnancy but has a high success rate until the 7th week. After this period, surgical evacuation is the method of choice. All these procedures should be done under the surveillance of a specialist after getting a trans-vaginal sonogram to locate the gestation sac and the age of the pregnancy, blood counts and urinalysis.
