Suggest Non Invasive Treatment For Retained Products In Cervical Canal After MTP?
Age:25 yrs Ht:168cm Wt:56kg Medical history: FTND 1 year back. I had an MTP 1 week ago. Follow up scan shows "mixed echoic material in the lower uterine segment and cervical canal suggestive of retained products".I still have slight bleeding, but no cramps or fever. What are the non invasive options I have for further management?
Hello dear Understand your concern According to your history you have incomplete abortion as USG confirmed it and also you have bleeding 1 week after abortion Two potion for incomplete abortion 1. Medical : misoprostol tablet vaginally- 200-400 ug every 4 hourly under observation of gynecologist 2. Surgical process: D & C or evacuation
So non invasive is by misoprostol. But surgery is safe and successful and no further check up for retain product. It should be done by experienced doctor in septic condition Hope this may help you Best regards Dr. Sagar
