Suggest Opinion On Getting Pregnant Even After Taking Pill

My last menstrual period was the first week or second week of march. This first week of april, I didn't get my period so I HAD sex April 4, and the condom broke, after 2 or less hours we got the emergency pill, Next Choice. Was I fertile or ovulating? What are the possibilities I am pregnant? How effective is the pill? If I am not pregnany, when will I get my period back? If I am pregnant, when can I take the pregnancy test?

Thanks for the query. I understand your concern.
* Most fertile days are around ovulation day (2 days before.. two days after &the ovulation day )& ovulation day is 14 days prior to expected day of conception .
- You had sex on 4th April while you were expecting periods In 1st or 2nd week of April.though it's very vage information ... let me try to explain-
Well there is no possibility of pregnancy just before menses (at the most 7th of the month if is had to be 1st week ) &even if it's going to be 2nd week..(at the most 14th of April) ovulation can be Hardly around 4th...
So mostly very less chances of pregnancy .
*You had taken emergency contraceptive in less than 2 hours of sex... that again reduces the chance of conception.
* Pill has best effect when taken within few hours of sex... at the same time the high hormones in the pill tend to dealy expected period to be delayed by 8-10 days.
So say you would have period by 3rd week of April at the most.
*In case you are pregnant home pregnancy test would be +ve after 21 days of sex.
