My wife is getting ready to have a spinal cord stimulator implant. She has a history of mrsa, she has an infectious disease Doctor. We are using hibiclens to bathe in and batroban ointment where ordered. She will receive it antibiotics during and after implant. Is there anything as far as extra cleaning we should do to our home? They have told me not to go out of home two was prior to surgery!

Hello, Your wife will be given prophylactic antibiotic course to prevent infection before and after implant. It s advisable not to go outside the home as suggested by the doctor.
