Suggest Precautions To Remove Stuck Bandage On The Open Wound

My 3 year old grandson had a mattress frame fall on his toes, fracturing one and busting the nail off of his big toe. This happen Tuesday at which time my son took him to the emergency room. He required 5-6 stitches and the toe nail was cut the rest of the way and then tucked under the skin (to promote regrowth). He was seen this morning by his pediatrician but couldn t get the bandage off due to dried blood with the toe nail pulling off. What should we do?

Hi,
Put some dettol or antiseptic lotion or even water on stuck bandage.
Keep it for some time and after 5-10 minutes bandage will come out.
Remove bandage carefully and slowly.
Afterwards clean the wound properly and do dressing with antibiotic cream.
Ok and take care.
