Suggest Prognosis Of Cervical Cancer With Abdominal Lymph Metastasis

i was just diagnosed with a reoccuance of cervical cancer (had a radical hyterectomy, chemo and rad last year). it metastisized in my abdominal lymphs. i have a Pet Scan next week to see if it is operable. from what i read i may have 12 weeks to 12 months. any idea what the mean survival rate is. i am extremely athletic healthy 43y/0 without any other health issues.

Hello dear. It is rather unfortunate to tell that you have an advanced form of disease. The usual survival in such cases is well over 1 year but that should not make you feel low as miracles do occur and some people survive long. So go ahead with the treatment. take care
