Suggest Proper Gap For Daily Prednisone Tablet Intake

I have been given prednisone 10mg for shingles and the instructions are to take 4 tablets daily for 4 days then 3 tablets for 3 days and 2 tablets for 2 days then 1 tablet for one day. My question is do I take the 4 tablets at once etc or do i space them out?

Hi welcome to HCM.

You are provided with the right treatment protocol for Prednisolone.
You are not supposed to take 4 tablets at one.You need to space them out as prescribed by your doctor.
