Hi,Dear,Thanks for your query to HCM virtual Clinic.
I studied your query in all the details put forth by you.
I understood your health concerns.

Cause of the health problems you queried-
There are many causes of the lumps on your left of your jaw besides nerve.Hope the data in your query is confusing and needs more clarification on the exact site and location-as it could be-
- pre-auricular node around the facial nerve near the tragus of your ear, ----and / or it could be node in the left neck besides the jaw.And each of these locations would indicate-
Either a lump with Lymph node due to infection post-parotitis post parotid duct stone/ or from Pleomorphid Parotid Adenoma with nodal spread,
or could be Lymphoma of the lymphnodes due to NHL(pre-auricular) or HL(Neck) .
To rule out other causes, I would advise you to consult ER ENT and ER Surgeon, who would examine it and treat it accordingly.

Still with my expertise and experience and with the given data in query,I would suggest you to rule out following causes with your ER OrthoSurgeon.

Cause in your case-
As the lump is opined by your ENT Surgeon as not to be intervened now, seems that he wants to observe and treat it withe antibiotics and anti-inflammatory drugs if need be.
If not relived with drugs(antibiotics / anti-inflammatory) he would go for FNAC biopsy to rule out either of the causes and other causes.
Treatment-
In the mean while you are waiting for needle biopsy decision-
Anti-biotics and anti-inflammatory -to rule out any infective causes in parotid or teeth or in Ear could be started if need be after ENT surgeons and or ER Surgeon's opinion.
-
In the absence of more information,I would advise Second opinion in your case, who would examine it and investigate it to treat it as per the cause of the lump.

So I would advise you to consult ER ENT Surgeon and ER Surgeon , who would rule out other causes of such a lump and would help you out with the fist hand information.
Do take his Second Opinion, on the above suggestion,as he would advise you with fist hand clinical information.

Hope this would resolve your query with full satisfaction.
