Hello,

I can understand your concern. It seems that an abscess has developed on your face due to bacterial infection. In that case only topical applications may not give desired effects.

I would advise you to start antibiotics along with the topical applications. You should take Cafixime 200 mg (Topcef) twice a day for 5 days. If you are having pain too, you can take OTC available painkillers like Acetaminophen 500 mg or Ibuprofen 400 mg.

However, if the abscess is not healed in 5 days, you should visit a physician for the clinical examination of the area and further procedures.

I hope this information helps you. Thank you for choosing HealthcareMagic. I wish you feel better soon.

Best,
Dr. Viraj Shah
