Suggest Remedies For Anxiety And Depression When Diagnosed With PCOS
Hello, I have not been feeling so good mentally for the last while. My boss was bullying me so I had to leave my job and now I m not sure about what type of career is even right for me. I feel sad loads of times and quite tearful. I am also on the pill if this makes any difference and have PCOS. My main concern is the bad thoughts I have been having. I have been having scary thoughts about how easy it would be to harm myself or even someone else. I definitely don t want to but this scares me. Like today I hurt my eye and I thought of how easy it would be to poke my eye out. I m terrified that I may hurt myself absentmindedly and then regret it. If it s the likes of my eyes there would be no going back. Please help me.
I am concerned with your health issues. Yes you are right bullying someone leads to low self esteem and depression as well. Don't be afraid of such things, ups and downs are a part of life, stay strong. I suggest you to visit your psychiatrist and let him start medicines for your problems and if possible you can also take help from support groups as well.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Sameen Bin Naeem, General & Family Physician
