Suggest Remedies For Bruise Like Pain On The Lower Spine Radiating To The Hips

I ve been having back pains recently. I think it was a spasm in the lower back (this started a few weeks ago). The tightness is now gone, but I ve got what feels like bruise type pain on my lower spine. almost in the tailbone area. I ve also had pain radiating into the hip area (this is not constant like the bruise/inflammation type pain).

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

It seems to be related to spondyloarthritis. However, should run X-ray and MRI of the back to determine it.

Furthermore, we should run the urine analysis to rule out kidney problems. For the moment, I advise to:

- apply analgesic cream locally
- take NSAID orally

Discuss this further with your caring doctor.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Albana Sejdini, General & Family Physician
