Suggest Remedies For Chest Pain Post Mild Injury

I fell down a small flight of stairs. About 3. I fell on my butt and hit the back of my head. Although, I have a small bruise on my tush and the pain on my head went away, I later developed pain in my chest. It s uncomfortable to lay a certain way so i was wondering how do I sleep or do I sleep?

Hi,

You need to undergo chest X-ray PA & lateral view (side of chest pain) to exclude any rib fracture or hemothorax, as you are feeling uncomfortable lying on one side. Paracetamol and or tramadol can be taken for symptomatic relief of pain. Lie on the side free of pain.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
